Fireproof Conferences

Well this past week we had a group of people from Mt. Airy's Baptist church in Easley SC visiting us. They taught some great classes and we had a great time with them. We are hoping to visit their church and see them again in the future.

Jason's Re-enlistment

Well this morning at 10am Jason re-enlisted at the Lighthouse in Guantanamo Bay for 2 years. Chaplin Mowbray was his re-enlisting officer and he had a great show of support by his Chain of Command and fellow MA's. Brooke and I are very proud of him and look forward to heading to Washington DC for our next duty station in about 3 weeks. It was a great day weather wise. Not to hot and a nice breeze. After the ceremony we headed up to the chapel and had some punch and cake.

Daddy's Softball Game

Well we went to watch Jason and the Navsta Security team play their third softball game. It was not looking good in the beginning but they game back to beat the Coast Guard Team 10-7. We love watching them play, especially Brooke. She claps when the boys claps and calls to Daddy as he plays first base. The team is now 3-0. Jason will miss playing with them when we leave.

What's new

Well time to catch you all up. We will be moving to Washington DC at the end of February. Jason will be working at the Washington Naval Shipyard. We have enjoyed our time in GTMO but it's time to move on and see what God Has in store for our family. It will be nice to finally be back in the states. Brooke is growing and learning everyday. She is almost walking and loves dancing and listing to music. She is learning and saying new words everyday. We hope you are all having a great start to 2009.
