Reptile Show

Well we went to the reptile show for the last time today. It was fun but very hot today and very crowded. Here are some of the things that we saw.

GTMO party

Even though Brooke's birthday isn't for two weeks we had a birthday party for her on Saturday with our GTMO family. We had a great time with you guys and thank you for everything. We will miss you all.

Brooke's First Trip to the Beach

Well before we left Cuba I decided to take Brooke to the beach for the first time and of course she loved it because she loves the water. I took her to Glass Beach and we met some friends there. The water was a little high and Brooke started getting tired so we didn't stay to long.

Sarah's 26th Birthday

Well Tuesday was my 26th birthday. I spent most of the day hanging out and playing with Brooke. Jason was busy with it being his first day of checking out. We went to dinner with the Mowbray's and Allison and then went to get some ice cream. I appreciate everyone who spent the day with me. I had a very special and blessed day.

Last time at the Pool

On President's Day since Jason was off before starting to check out the next day we decided to go to the pool for the last time in Cuba. We were excited Jason got to come because of his schedule he usually had to miss our pool outings. We had a great time and are going to miss being able to go to the pool any day of the year. We are hoping we find a pool at our next duty station because Brooke loves the water.

Heart 2 Heart Dinner

Well we had our annual Heart 2 Heart dinner at the church. Everyone loved our decorations and we had some great food. Chaps gave us a great Sermon and we played the not so newlywed game and win lose or draw. Jason and I were thankful we weren't playing the not so newlywed game, it's much more fun to watch. It was a great evening and had special meaning for so many of us that will not be here for it next year.

" The Little Mermaid"

On Friday night Brooke and I went and watched our church friends children preform in " The Little Mermaid" which was put on by Missula Children's Theater. It was a great show and it's amazing what they can do in a shirt amount of time. Brooke didn't take her eyes off the stage the whole time. When that was done we walked over to the softball field and watch Jason play in a softball game. All in all we had a great evening.

Boating Trip

Well we spent the morning on the boat with some friends. Brooke loved the fresh air and wind in her hair. We went and saw some of the places that we wanted to see before we left, collected some shells, saw starfish and a baby stingray. We had a lot of fun and this is one of the things that we miss about Cuba being able to take a boat out any time of the year.

Bowling Night with the Church

Well while Jason was working Brooke and I enjoyed a night at the bowling alley for the Chapel bowling night. Brooke had fun visiting with everyone and playing with Parker. I bowled two games and didn't do that bad. We had a good turn out, bowled and enjoyed some pizza. We will miss hanging out at events with our church family.

Picture Day

Well Brooke, Allison and I spend the afternoon taking pictures of beaches and stuff around GTMO so that we have pictures of everything before we move. It was a nice day, not to hot. The temperature guide said 93 degrees. But we had a good day and only have a few more things that we need pictures of before we leave. We made it home just in time because shortly after arriving home it started to pour rain with lighting and thunder and did this until late evening.
