Brooke Update

Brooke is growing like a weed. She is getting so tall and learning so much. She loves to do things on her own and is very helpful. She loves to read all the time, is doing great with potty training, she's very sweet and loving. She is getting four new teeth. Here are some pictures that I took of her today.

Month of the Military Child

Since it is month of the military child they had an event going on at our housing office. They had piggy banks and stuffed animals for the kids to decorate, a person doing characatures and food. We has a nice time and went with a friend. Here are some pictures.

Peyton's 2 week check up

Peyton had her two week check up yesterday and is doing well. She is back to her birth weight and is now 21 inches long. She does however have thrush which isnt uncommon so they put her on medicine and a multivitamin. The doctor said she is doing very well with eye contact. Here are some picture I have taken of her this week.

2 weeks and counting

Well today Peyton is two weeks old. Brooke is doing great as a big sister and Jason went back to work today. Here are some pictures that we took of Peyton in the past two weeks and some pictures of the girls in matching dresses that we took before church yesterday.

Here are some pictures that we took on Thursday before taking Peyton to her 48 hour check up. She did great she has only gone down 2 % to 7 lbs 11 oz. She is doing great. She is a good baby like Brooke was. We are very blessed.

Sisterly Love

Brooke did great with Peyton our first full day home. She keeps wanting to hold her and kiss her. Understands when Mommy and Daddy have to do something for the baby and is bringing us stuff to help. She checks on her when she cries and lets us know that she's crying.

Welcome Peyton Elizabeth Kies

On Monday April 5th, 2010 at 2:06 pm we welcomed the newest addition to our family Peyton Elizabeth Kies. She weighted 7lbs 14.7 oz and is 19 3/4 inches long. She has a lot of dark hair and blue eyes like her sister. We came home from the hospital yesterday early evening and had a good first night.

Happy Easter

Today we enjoyed a nice Easter service and will be relaxing the rest of the day. Today is our final day as a family of three. We are headed to the hospital at 6:30 am tomorrow for me to be induced. We look forward to our next post being about introducing you to Peyton Elizabeth. Hope you all have a great Easter and let's celebrate the ressurection of our Lord.

Cherry Blossom 2010

This morning Brooke, myself, my friend and her daughter went to see the Cherry Blossoms in bloom. They were beautiful as always and it was the perfect day for it. I did however get a little to much sun. Then we went over to the mall and got a maincure and pedicure something I havent had in a while and it was very nice. All in all it was a great day.
