At a week old Blake's belly button thing had fallen off so I was able to give a bath that wasnt a sponge bath. Its always nice when you can do that. I got a few pictures after when he was in his towel.
My Mom's birthday was the Wednesday after she was leaving so we got a cake and celebrated with her at the house Sunday afternoon. The girls really enjoyed celebrating with her and loved the cake.
We were happy to get Blake home. We were greeted by Brooke, Peyton and my Mom and Sister. It was nice to spend time with them since they left Monday afternoon. They had to make this a quick trip but we look forward to their trips in the future. Here are a few pictures that I took Blake's first day home.
Blake got to come home at 24 hours old which we were happy about. It's always nice to be in the comfort of your own home and my Mom and Sister were only here for a few days so we wanted to spend time with them before they left. Blake wore his navy onsie home.
On Friday August 10, 2012 I was induced and at 1:31pm we welcomed our baby boy Blake Patrick Kies. He weighted 8 lbs 4 oz and was 20 inches long. He has lots of dark black hair and blue eyes like the girls did when they were born. Here are some of his first pictures. The girls just love him and so do we.
The Wednesday before I had the baby we took the girls to a Mexican resturant to see Elmo and Abby from Sesame Street.We wanted to do something special with them before the baby came. Peyton wouldnt go near them for pictures. I also took each of the girls out with me one day during the week for Mommy and daughter one on one time.
Well Brooke had her last ballet class the week before I had the baby. It was the class where the parents could come watch and it was nice to see what she had learned in 6 weeks. She really enjoyed it and we signed her up for the next year of it which starts Sept 5th. Here are some of the pictures that we took.
