One of the best things about the summer is being able to have friend over to play outside and we did have a lot of really hot summer days we were able to have some days where we played outside without getting overheated. It's fun to see the kids enjoy themselves with their friends.
The first few weeks of Blake's life we just went about our normal activites. He is a very easy going baby boy. The girls are enjoying every moment of him and I think that they think he is there baby. Here are a few pictures from the first few weeks.
At a week old Blake's belly button thing had fallen off so I was able to give a bath that wasnt a sponge bath. Its always nice when you can do that. I got a few pictures after when he was in his towel.
My Mom's birthday was the Wednesday after she was leaving so we got a cake and celebrated with her at the house Sunday afternoon. The girls really enjoyed celebrating with her and loved the cake.
We were happy to get Blake home. We were greeted by Brooke, Peyton and my Mom and Sister. It was nice to spend time with them since they left Monday afternoon. They had to make this a quick trip but we look forward to their trips in the future. Here are a few pictures that I took Blake's first day home.
Blake got to come home at 24 hours old which we were happy about. It's always nice to be in the comfort of your own home and my Mom and Sister were only here for a few days so we wanted to spend time with them before they left. Blake wore his navy onsie home.
